Here is a snapshot of the first two weeks of April 2020 compared to the first two weeks of April in 2019. You can see under the column entitled “Number of New Contracts” 528 new residential deals went in to escrow between April 1st and April 15th of this year. That is down 26.4% from last year during the same period which translates to a 101 day supply County wide as shown in the column entitled “Number of Days Supply” Also note worthy is the column entitled “Number of Canceled Listings”, which represents properties that were for sale and withdrawn from the market either temporarily or permanently. The chart also shows the difference in median sales prices from the same periods and the current supply of existing inventory. St. Petersburg, the Beaches and Seminole markets are broken out for your review as well.
